This is in my top 10 and maybe top 5 pieces of music so over the years I have heard a couple different recordings. I felt the tempo was a bit too fast in places, especially the first movement. It was not bad, just different.
In terms of sonic quality, I was only able to listen to it through my headphones so I could not give it a fair evaluation, I expect it will sound better when on my full system in the future.
I am glad I bought this recording and enjoy hearing different competent renditions, which this was.
