卡莉·西蒙（全名：Carly Elisabeth Simon）美国著名创作歌手，1972年获格莱美最佳新人奖，也是第一个获格莱美奖、奥斯卡奖、金球奖的艺人，1994年入驻Songwriters Hall of Fame（创作人名人堂），其前夫是著名民谣唱将James Taylor。Haven’t Got Time for the Pain全部入围十佳歌曲。

Carly Simon作为纽约一个上层社会家庭最小的女儿，在儿时就与姐姐Lucy组成了二重唱组合 “Simon姐妹组”。作为组合的一员，她在1964年4月就发行了一首单曲”Winkin’ Blinkin’ and Nod”。而作为其个人推出的首张专辑则是在1971年2月，包括她的首支热门单曲”That’s the Way I’ve Always Heard It Should Be,”。这首与Jacob Brackman合作的描述反抗婚姻妇女心声的歌曲登上了当时的排行榜Top Ten.
